Wow, it’s already mid-January! Nonetheless, everyone in the Nova Contemporary Jazz Orchestra would like to wish everyone out there a Happy New Year. In addition to our regular performances at O’Garas, (The next one is the 27th of this Month), we have exciting projects planned for 2009. Stay tuned!
The Nova band is currently working on recording its 7th CD! Of course, in the summer individual schedules mean that 16 or 17 musicians are going in 16 or 17 different directions, but the CD is sure to get recorded and we’ll be sure to let you know when it hits the street. By the way, Nova’s 6th CD, An Odd Christmas, was well received. Read a review at All About Jazz dot com.
